 On Checkout, you can select from the following payment options:


Payment by Credit Card

Dontronics has a secure payment link to the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.  When paying by Credit Card you are automatically directed to the secure bank payment site and your web browser will show that you are in 'secure transaction' mode.  You enter your credit card details - no-one at Dontronics needs to see any of your card information.

As soon as you have successfully made your payment, we will receive confirmation of your payment and order.  Your order will be processed without delay and you will be advised by email of the progress and dispatch of your order.

Please note that payment by credit card is only accepted from customers providing an email from a paid Internet Service Provider, or from previously approved customers.  If you do not have access to an email service from a paid service provider, then please see below for alternative methods of payment accepted.


Verify By Visa and MasterCard Secure Code -  If you experience difficulties with a Verify By Visa issues when paying for your order you can send us your card number, expiry date, and security number. Send us the details split over two emails,  and we can put the transaction through manually for you.

3-DSecure is an XML-based protocol used as an added layer of security for online credit and debit card transactions. It was developed by Visa to improve the security of Internet payments and offered to customers as the Verified by Visa service. Services based on the protocol have also been adopted by MasterCard, under the name MasterCard SecureCode, and by JCB International as J/Secure.

3-DSecure adds another authentication step for online payments. Merchants are encouraged to use 3-D Secure to achieve higher coverage against fraud losses. When a merchant does not use 3-D Secure they are liable for fraudulent transactions even if the transaction was properly authorized.

3-DSecure should not be confused with the Card Security Code which is a short numeric code that is printed on the card.

Payment by Direct Bank Funds Transfer (Direct Credit / EFT / Bank Wire Transfer)

International Bank Wire Transfer:
The Australian Commonwealth Bank charges us approx. $25 AUD per international transaction, so we ask that you add this fee to the total cost of your order. You will also be charged international transfer fees by your bank.

Your order will be processed as soon as confirmation of the deposit is received.  This can be confirmed by sending a scan of your deposit slip or bank lodgement receipt.  You must notify us by Email of any payment being paid directly into our bank account, and we must be able to match this with an order received via the Shopping Cart. 

If you do not have access to a scanner, then just drop us an email advising that you have transferred a payment and we will advise you as soon as this appears in our bank account.

Please note:  On many occasions customers ask for bank details but do not proceed with a payment, so we rely on you to notify us of your payment as we do not follow up on requests for our bank details.  Please send us an Email when you have transferred the funds.
 

Australian Bank - Electronic Funds Transfer:
If paying by Direct Credit, your order will be processed as soon as confirmation of the deposit is received.  This can be confirmed by sending a scan of your deposit slip or bank lodgement receipt.  You must notify us by email of any payment being paid directly into our bank account, and we must be able to match this with an order received via the Shopping Cart.

PayPal Payments

We accept payments through PayPal. As soon as you have successfully made your payment, we will receive confirmation of your payment and order.  Your order will be processed without delay and you will be advised by email of the progress and despatch of your order.
 

 Cash by Registered Mail

Sending cash in the mail in US Dollars, Australian Dollars, British pounds, €uro or money from any country is fine, but it is at your risk and we strongly recommend sending letters containing cash as Registered Mail.

We do have very good success at receiving cash payments as our P.O. Box is secure. Letters are usually received in around 8 days from most international destinations.

You will be contacted by email as soon as we receive your payment, and you will be advised at this time of the progress and dispatch of your order.
 

 

Western Union

As soon as we receive your order we will provide you with the information you need to send money via Western Union.  You will be contacted by email as soon as we receive your payment, and you will be advised at this time of the progress and dispatch of your order.
 

 

Australian Money Order or Cheque (in AUD)

When the payment method selected on Checkout is by Australian Money Order or cheque, we will send you a confirmation email as soon as your Money Order or cheque arrives, and your order is processed.  Australian Money Orders and cheques can be made payable to Dontronics and sent to:

Please ask before sending any Check (Cheque) in foreign currency.  We are charged around $25AUD to transfer to Australian currency by our Bank, and have to wait several weeks for the funds to clear - not a favoured method!

 
 

Official Purchase Order (only available to previously approved Govt. Departments & Educational Institutions)

Official Purchase Orders can be emailed to us using a PDF file, but no order will be processed until we can match it with an order sent via the Shopping Cart.

If you submit your order via the Shopping Cart and select the Purchase Order option on Checkout, your official Purchase Order can be emailed to us as a PDF file.
